As a Doula, I provide emotional and physical support to a woman or couple during pregnancy, labor, delivery and up to a month postpartum. I can help with communication between you and your birth team to ensure that you have the information you need to make informed decisions. I can provide objective reassurance to you and your partner, make suggestions for comfort, labor progress, and support you with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for your comfort.

I work with you prenatally, during labor and postpartum providing unbiased information and resources including current evidence-based research which can help identify birth preference and to prepare for labor and delivery.  My primary focus is nurturing, empowering and supporting you throughout every stage as well as helping your companion (husband, mother, friend) more effectively support you.  My goal is to make you feel prepared and confident, whatever that looks like for you!
